Getting around Airport connection, channel crossing and road transfer

DAY 02A guided island day tripOvernight · Santa Cruz

A CLEARER PICTURE OF YOUR TRIP

Budget, hotels & inclusions.

US$2,000–2,500 per person is a planning estimate, not a confirmed selling price or availability guarantee. It is informed by comparable published land-based trips; your personal quote confirms the price of your own itinerary.

What to plan for

  • Six nights: three on Santa Cruz in separate stays and three on Isabela.
  • Standard hotels, with two adults sharing a double or twin room.
  • Airport transfers and inter-island transport where shown.
  • Guided excursions described in the proposed route, generally shared with other travelers.
  • Hotel breakfasts as a planning assumption; excursion lunches and equipment confirmed individually in your quote.

Budget separately

  • International and mainland–Galapagos flights.
  • National Park entry, transit card and local entry or dock fees unless expressly included in your quote.
  • Meals not listed, drinks, tips and personal expenses.
  • Travel insurance, optional activities and equipment rental not expressly included.
  • Private upgrades, higher hotel categories and single-room supplements.

Choose your hotel style

Start with standard accommodation, or request comfort and boutique options. We will send hotel names, room arrangements and availability with your proposal before you commit. Photos of island scenery do not represent a particular hotel.

Dates, holiday periods, traveler numbers and activity choices can change the total. Your final proposal will clearly distinguish included services, optional extras and independent time.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Questions about your itinerary.

How many nights are on Santa Cruz and Isabela?

This seven-day itinerary has six hotel nights: two on Santa Cruz, three on Isabela and a final night back on Santa Cruz. The arrival and departure days are included in the seven days.

Why return to Santa Cruz before flying home?

The proposed route uses Baltra for arrival and departure. Returning from Isabela the day before your flight avoids planning that sea crossing and airport connection on the same day.

Does this tour also visit San Cristóbal?

San Cristóbal is not an overnight base in this route. Compare our eight-day three-island itinerary or request an extension if you want to include it.

Is this a fixed package?

No. This itinerary is a starting point. We adapt the trip before confirmation, subject to availability and practical travel arrangements.

What is included in the price?

Your personal proposal will list accommodation, activities, transfers, meals where applicable, inclusions, exclusions and the total price in USD. Request your tailored quote to confirm these details for your dates.

Will every excursion be private?

A tailor-made trip can combine private and shared services. Your proposal will explain which applies to each activity and transfer.

Can I choose the exact wildlife I see?

You can tell us which wildlife interests you most. Sightings vary, and the animals shown in our photographs are not guaranteed on any departure.
