YOUR ISLANDS, DAY BY DAY
Your suggested itinerary.
A starting point for your trip. We tailor the activities, island stays and pace to you, subject to availability.
TWO ISLANDS · SIX NIGHTS
DAY 01Baltra arrival & Santa Cruz highlandsOvernight · Santa Cruz
Meet your transfer on arrival at Baltra, cross the Itabaca Channel and continue onto Santa Cruz. If flight timing allows, begin with a guided visit to a highland tortoise reserve before checking into your Puerto Ayora hotel.
Getting around Airport connection, channel crossing and road transfer
DAY 02A guided island day tripOvernight · Santa Cruz
Plan a boat excursion to a permitted visitor site such as North Seymour, Bartolomé, South Plaza or Santa Fe. These are alternatives, not four included visits. We will name the selected destination, activities and any snorkeling in your proposal after checking availability.
Getting around Shared excursion boat; meeting-point transfer as quoted
DAY 03Cross to Isabela & settle into Puerto VillamilOvernight · Isabela
Take a scheduled passenger boat to Isabela and transfer to your hotel. Use the rest of the day for a beach walk and relaxed exploration of Puerto Villamil, allowing for the crossing and check-in.
Getting around Inter-island passenger boat
DAY 04Los Túneles marine discoveryOvernight · Isabela
A proposed guided boat excursion explores Los Túneles and its snorkeling areas. Tell us about your comfort in the water. The exact route, access and alternative activities depend on sea conditions and available permits.
Getting around Shared excursion boat
DAY 05Sierra Negra or a slower dayOvernight · Isabela
Choose a guided hike at Sierra Negra or ask us to replace it with a gentler experience. This flexible day can also become downtime by the beach; any change in activities and price will be confirmed in your quote.
Getting around Road transfer and walking for the hike
DAY 06Santa Cruz return & an easy afternoonOvernight · Santa Cruz
Return to Puerto Ayora by passenger boat. Leave the afternoon for the waterfront, local shops or the Charles Darwin Research Station, depending on timing. Spend the final night on Santa Cruz before your Baltra departure.
Getting around Inter-island passenger boat
DAY 07Baltra departure
Transfer across Santa Cruz and the Itabaca Channel to Baltra Airport for your confirmed departure. Keep this day for airport logistics.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Questions about your itinerary.
How many nights are on Santa Cruz and Isabela?
This seven-day itinerary has six hotel nights: two on Santa Cruz, three on Isabela and a final night back on Santa Cruz. The arrival and departure days are included in the seven days.
Why return to Santa Cruz before flying home?
The proposed route uses Baltra for arrival and departure. Returning from Isabela the day before your flight avoids planning that sea crossing and airport connection on the same day.
Does this tour also visit San Cristóbal?
San Cristóbal is not an overnight base in this route. Compare our eight-day three-island itinerary or request an extension if you want to include it.
Is this a fixed package?
No. This itinerary is a starting point. We adapt the trip before confirmation, subject to availability and practical travel arrangements.
What is included in the price?
Your personal proposal will list accommodation, activities, transfers, meals where applicable, inclusions, exclusions and the total price in USD. Request your tailored quote to confirm these details for your dates.
Will every excursion be private?
A tailor-made trip can combine private and shared services. Your proposal will explain which applies to each activity and transfer.
Can I choose the exact wildlife I see?
You can tell us which wildlife interests you most. Sightings vary, and the animals shown in our photographs are not guaranteed on any departure.
