MORE TIME TO DISCOVER.

Galapagos tours for seniors.

Stay in island hotels, explore with day excursions and leave room for downtime. Choose an island journey around your interests, preferred comfort and appetite for adventure—not a one-size-fits-all pace.

Your interests lead. Your pace follows.

Whether you enjoy active days or a more leisurely holiday, the right route begins with the experiences you want and the travel arrangements you find comfortable.

01

Fewer moves, or more islands

Settle into Santa Cruz or travel between islands for more variety. We explain the hotel changes and transport involved so you can choose a route that suits you.

02

Activities chosen with you

Wildlife walks, time by the coast and snorkeling appeal to different travelers. Tell us what you enjoy and what you prefer to leave out; we will discuss suitable choices for your proposal.

03

Comfort beyond the room

A comfortable trip also depends on hotel location, steps, transfer arrangements and time to rest. We check the details that matter to you before confirming your stay.

A ROUTE TO MAKE YOUR OWN

Choose your starting point.

Compare these existing routes by the number of island bases and transfers. Longer stays can mean a gentler rhythm when extra nights are added to the same route.

8 days / 7 nights

8-Day Galapagos Three-Island Tour

San Cristóbal + Santa Cruz + Isabela

Three islands for travelers who value variety and are comfortable with several transfers. Ask to extend the stay if you want more time between active days.

5 days / 4 nights

5-Day Galapagos Land Tour

Santa Cruz

One Santa Cruz hotel base means fewer moves. You can add nights and choose excursions individually; a single base does not remove all boat travel.

Compare the moves, not just the days

RouteOvernight sequenceIsland moves
8 days / 7 nightsSan Cristóbal 2 → Santa Cruz 1 → Isabela 3 → Santa Cruz 13
7 days / 6 nightsSanta Cruz 2 → Isabela 3 → Santa Cruz 12
5 days / 4 nightsSanta Cruz 40

Numbers show hotel nights. Island moves exclude day boats and airport connections. The longer routes return to Santa Cruz before flying from Baltra. Add nights at the same base if you prefer more rest between outings.

Starting prices relate to the linked itinerary. Your dates, hotel choices and tailored services determine your personal quote.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Choose the pace. Check the practical details.

A day with more time on land

For a Santa Cruz stay, ask us to plan a highland tortoise visit with a relaxed afternoon in Puerto Ayora. Choose the walking duration and allow time at your hotel between outings. This is a tailoring idea; transport, terrain and the final activity plan will be checked in your proposal.

Walking and terrain

Some outings involve uneven volcanic ground, steps or longer stretches on foot. Tell us your preferred walking duration and terrain; we will check the proposed activities rather than describe an entire tour as easy.

Boat transfers and excursions

Island-hopping routes include sea travel, and a hotel-based stay can still involve day boats. Boarding arrangements and conditions vary. Discuss any concerns before choosing the route so we can check the practical options.

Rooms and hotel access

Let us know if avoiding stairs, staying close to restaurants or choosing a particular room type is important. Step-free access and other room features need to be verified with each property for your dates.

Time between experiences

Ask for rest periods, fewer early starts where the schedule allows, or extra nights at the same base. The final itinerary will distinguish guided activities, transport days and independent time.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions, answered.

Are these tours only for travelers over 60?

No. We use your interests, preferred pace and practical requirements to plan the journey. Age alone does not determine which activities suit a traveler, and these are not age-restricted group departures.

Is every activity suitable for limited mobility?

No. Island terrain, boats and hotels have different access conditions. Tell us which practical arrangements you need, without sending medical details in the form. We must verify the relevant services before confirming suitability; this is not an advertised fully accessible tour.

Do I have to snorkel?

No. You can ask for a proposal that focuses on wildlife on land, coastal scenery and island stays. Any alternative to a scheduled excursion must be checked and agreed before confirmation.

Which itinerary has the fewest hotel changes?

The five-day Santa Cruz route uses one island base and can be extended. The seven-day route includes Santa Cruz and Isabela, while the eight-day route visits three islands and includes additional transfers.

Can we travel with our children and grandchildren?

Yes, you can request a multigenerational proposal. Share everyone’s ages and interests so we can discuss a workable shared pace, accommodation and activity choices.

What will our quote include?

Your proposal will list hotels, activities, transfers, included meals and the total price for your chosen services. Galapagos flights can be discussed separately. Private services and upgrades will be identified rather than assumed.
