Independent time. A well-planned journey.

A land-based trip gives you a hotel base each night and a choice of experiences by day. Tell us how much you want organized and how much time you prefer to keep free.

01

Your own room

Start with accommodation for one. We will identify your room arrangement and its cost in the proposal, so you can compare the full trip price before booking.

02

Shared experiences

Ask for shared guided excursions if you enjoy meeting other travelers. The people on each activity may change; you keep your own itinerary and hotel arrangements.

03

Your interests first

Spend longer on wildlife, include a snorkeling excursion or allow a relaxed afternoon in town. Your interests help us choose the route and the days worth organizing.

A ROUTE TO MAKE YOUR OWN

Choose your starting point.

Use these routes as starting points for a trip for one. We will quote your room and chosen services individually; the standard per-person prices on the tour pages may use different room arrangements.

Your quote is prepared for your party size, room arrangements and chosen services.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Know how your solo trip will work.

A trip for one, not a fixed social departure

This service plans a personal itinerary for a solo traveler. It does not promise the same group or guide throughout the trip. Tell us if a continuous group experience is essential before we prepare a proposal.

Room costs and single supplements

Ask for the total price for one traveler and a clear breakdown of what is included. A per-person rate based on two sharing a room is not the same as a solo quote. We do not assume room matching or a waived single supplement.

Arrival and daily meeting points

Your confirmed arrangements should identify where to meet for transfers and excursions, what is included and which periods are independent. Share your flight plans when available so the proposed route fits your arrival and departure.

Planning as a solo female traveler

Tell us your preferences for hotel location, arrival transfers and guided versus independent time. We can discuss these when shaping the proposal. We do not promise a women-only group or round-the-clock accompaniment.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions, answered.

Can I book a Galapagos land-based trip for one?

Yes. Request a proposal for one traveler, with your preferred dates, room style and activities. We check the arrangements for your trip before you confirm.

Will I meet other travelers?

Shared excursions offer opportunities to meet other visitors, but the group may be different each day. Hotel stays, free time and meals are not automatically part of a hosted social program.

Do I have to share a hotel room?

We prepare the proposal around your requested room arrangement. We do not automatically pair you with a stranger. Ask for a room for one and check its price in your quote.

How can I manage my solo travel budget?

Compare a single island base with a multi-island route, choose your hotel style and prioritize the excursions you most want. Shared services may be an option; availability and the full cost are confirmed in your proposal.

Can I add days to a suggested tour?

Yes. The five-, seven- and eight-day routes are starting points. Tell us how long you have and whether you prefer more free time or more organized activities.
